its nuts how people still do these crazy mods when you can just have a bigger 4 stroke and do the same without mods. These communities are dying out through since everyone is going to electric. Ive been modding gas bikes before they were even cool way back in 2010 and seen it go up and down after electric took over.

How long does it roughly take to recharge if you run the batterie completely out?

Just route out the holes in the u shaped coil holder with a drill bit and chainsaw file. Much safer and easier.

At the end of the day the big dealbreaker for me on gas bikes is the noise and legality, a standard 80cc 2 stroke counts as a motorcycle in maryland for some reason

You mentioned in a previous video that the cops were on your case for motorized bicycles being used on the roads... Here in Houston a 49cc is legal and anything 50cc + must be registered... You should look into LOUISIANA LAWS about this issue... There's no way a cop can tell what is a 49cc or a 100cc unless they themselves are into motorized bikes... I ran into 1 cop that new alot about these motorized bikes, in fact he told me not to worry about it as long as I ride with caution... The cop even asked me if I was interested in riding with him on his day off... We rode for about 5 hours on and off stopping every 30 minutes to cool down the engines... Great times... I've sold all of my bikes and I'm thinking about purchasing a new bike already built and ready to go...!!!!

Ive had this idea of a cover for the nt velocity stack that mounts to your seat tube and possibly top tube or bolts into the stack itself picture a bowl shape that wraps around the stack leaving a gap to funnel air into the stack while also providing a shield from larger debris from the back tier not like a airfilter cuz dust will still be able to go in but like a air scoop/ debris shield i have no clue if this would help performance or not but id absolutely love to see it tested. Its Kinda a forced air concept on top of a velocity stack.

Thanks for the first real coherent test of a Hawk 250 without the excessive mods, drag races and mud bogs. My 1980 Yamaha XT250 is in showroom shape and rides great, but for the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, it's not something I want to depend on 50 miles from the nearest phone, no cell service in most remote areas. I have been looking at Hawk for riding some two-tracks on the Lake Superior shoreline, shopping trips and keeping the miles off my truck. Thoughtful video and very helpful. Thanks!

You should shorten your cables up some so they don't get in the way and tangled up on everything! It makes the bike look so much nicer and it's so easy to do! Nice bike though.👍

It is small things malfunctioning that could present problems. And the throttle is neoprene. Really My first build I attempted a 20 mile ride and failed now I am apprehensive and question the reality because of the sensitivity in the throttle and the pressure the videos displayed....? Are these real videos that are not encrypted?

Im prepping to make a gas bike. I love my ebike but the damn thing runs out of juice after like 10 minutes of riding. Plus it doesnt help i live in a rainy area.

Waiting on a shorter pedal so I don't have to install the wide...crank system but I did make the mistake of adding a pull start 😕 the string is starting to fray already and I have not been able to get the bike started yet....if I take off the plastic cover and spray some starter fluid in the back of the carb do you think that would do the trick thanks for the Video as always

Good indication your pilot jet may be to lean . Step it up one size or you could increase your float level a little .
